Capcom Showcase - Quick Recap

By: Evan1Sonic. From Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy to Dragon's Dogma 2, here is a quick recap of everything shown at the Capcom Showcase in June.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is an adventure game from Capcom. This trilogy bundles Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice together in one package. Each of those games has been updated with an improved UI, high-resolution artwork, and more. Defend your clients and make a few objections when Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy releases on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC early next year.

Some other highlights of this event include new trailers for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Resident Evil 4 VR, and Pragmata, which was delayed to an unannounced date. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, which is launching on June 30th, 2023, announced a free demo that is available now on all platforms. Last but not least, Mega Man X Dive Offline, the offline version of the free-to-play Mega Man title that's coming to iOS, Android, and PC later this year, was presented.

Exoprimal is an online team-based action game from Capcom. In this game set in the future of 2040, players don state-of-the-art exosuits and go head-to-head with overwhelming hordes of dinosaurs. Form a five-person team and compete online with other teams to be the first to defeat their enemies and complete their missions. Choose from many types of exosuit roles, from assault, which uses an array of attacks to defeat enemies, to tank, which protects teammates by drawing out enemy attacks. Fight T. Rex, raptors, pteranodons, and more when Exoprimal releases for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on July 14th, 2023. A second open beta test will also run from June 15-18 2023, for those who want to play a bit of the game early.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is an open-world action RPG game from Capcom. Rounding out the event, this sequel showcased some new gameplay details. The Pawns return with new abilities and improved AI to help you on your journey. Whether by guiding you to a hidden area or by giving you a high-five after a rough battle. Director Hideaki Itsuno also stated that the open world is four times bigger than the original Dragon’s Dogma map. Fight everything from a dragon to a medusa as you venture out to complete your quest when Dragon's Dogma 2 launches on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC soon.

You can watch the full event here. This event was just below average and presented what to expect from Capcom in the future. My favorite game shown at this event was Exoprimal. While I’m not super excited about this title, I’ll definitely give it a go when it releases in July. What was your favorite? Let me know in the comments below. It’s that summer season of gaming, so keep tuned in to Elevate Games for all the biggest news and event recaps all summer long.

I hope you enjoyed and Game On!!
