From Need for Speed Heat to Toem, PlayStation Plus is getting new games in September

By: Evan1Sonic. For anyone unaware, if you have a subscription to PlayStation Plus, then for a limited time, you can get and download these games for free. You will only be unable to play them if you don't have the subscription in the future, but if you leave and return, they will be waiting for you.

The descriptions of these games are from the PlayStation Blog post revealing what games are coming to Plus this month. You can play PS4 games on a PS5, but they won't be optimized for the PS5. All of the games listed below will be available to claim from September 6th, 2022, to October 3rd, 2022, as long as you are a PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium member. Need for Speed Heat - PS4 is an open-world racing game from Ghost Games. “Hustle by day and risk it all at night in Need for Speed Heat, a white-knuckle street racer, where the lines of the law fade as the sun starts to set. By day, Palm City hosts the Speedhunter Showdown, a sanctioned competition where you earn Bank to customize and upgrade your high-performance cars. At night, ramp up the intensity in illicit street races that build your reputation, getting you access to bigger races and better parts.” Become the best street racer around in Need for Speed Heat.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus - PS4 is a fighting game from Arc System Works. “Legendary fighting game studio Arc System Works brings the Granblue Fantasy universe to PlayStation in an action-packed, head-to-head fighter. Granblue Fantasy: Versus features a colorful cast, each with a unique fighting style. Also includes an RPG mode that features an all-new, original story. Play solo or team up with a friend to fight waves of enemies in thrilling action-RPG combat.” Defeat any opponent in your path in Granblue Fantasy: Versus.

Toem - PS5 is a puzzle adventure game from Something We Made. “Set off on a delightful expedition and use your photographic eye to uncover mysteries in this hand-drawn adventure game. Chat with quirky characters, solve their problems by snapping neat photos, and make your way through a relaxing landscape.” Go on a journey to visit a magical place in Toem.
