**It’s Sunday, and that means it's time to talk about all the gaming news this week**

By: Evan1Sonic. This week has been a steady week of news, with a slate of new titles being shown at the big Nintendo Direct, The Last Case of Benedict Fox locking in an April release date, and more.

News From the Big Nintendo Direct. The Nintendo Direct event that aired on February 8th featured many titles coming to Nintendo’s platform in the near future. Some of these games include Pikmin 4, Octopath Traveler II, and Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 HD Remaster. Some other highlights were Metroid Prime Remastered being shadow-dropped, Sea of Stars locking in a release date of August 29th, and Nintendo bringing Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games to Nintendo Switch Online. To round out the event, a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was premiered. Earthworm Jim 4 has Reportedly Been Canceled. The planned next game in the action-platformer series, Earthworm Jim 4, has reportedly been scrapped. OutofcontextEarthwormJim is the source of this news. From a Discord conversation with fans, "EWJ4 was quietly dusted under the carpet, and they hoped nobody would notice." They go on to speculate that Intellivision didn't have the rights to Earthworm Jim and was "slapped on the wrist" or that "everything went pear-shaped with the Amico, and they decided to call it quits." While it’s unclear which theory is correct, the fact that Earthworm Jim 4 isn’t on the way anymore is sadly obvious.
