The new PlayStation Plus game lineup has been announced. In a recent PlayStation blog post, the new PlayStation Plus game lineup has been revealed. Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, Horizon Zero Dawn, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Returnal, The Last of Us Remastered, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla are just a few of the highlights coming to the PS4 and PS5 game catalogs. The games don't stop there because there are a lot more excellent games in this collection. PS Plus Premium, the highest tier of membership, allows you to play PS3 games like Ico, Infamous 1 and 2, Rain, Tokyo Jungle, and more. Premium members can also play timed game trials. The games offered for trial will change over time, but you'll be able to experience Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Horizon Forbidden West at launch, among others. Read our article about the new PS Plus here for the full list of games and a breakdown of each tier.
Some Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary news is coming next month. Some Final Fantasy VII news is coming in June, according to Final Fantasy VII Remakes director Tetsuya Nomura. In a Japanese-language livestream about FFVII: The First Soldier, Nomura said news regarding the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII is on the way for June. (The translation is courtesy of Video Game Chronicle.) While we don't know what this implies beyond the comment above, we can hope it's news about the Final Fantasy VII Remake Part2, but it might possibly be something else entirely in the Final Fantasy VII universe. In any case, we'll have to wait until next month to see what this tease is.
Marvel Snap, a new collectible card game from former Hearthstone developers, is coming soon. Marvel Snap, the first game by Second Dinners, is a free-to-play 1v1 multiplayer collectable card game set in the Marvel universe. The game focuses on fast matches, with both competitors playing at the same time. According to the developers, each game lasts roughly three minutes. If you're feeling confident during a game, you can "snap" to essentially double-down and raise the stakes and winning payout. The games take place in three different settings that should be familiar to Marvel fans. To triumph in a game, you must win two of the three locations on the board. At launch, the game will have well over 150 base cards, with new cards and content arriving every month when new seasons are released. While the game is free-to-play and you can collect every card without opening your wallet, it has not been confirmed if the game will have microtransactions or not. Marvel Snap is coming soon to mobile devices and PCs, and Android users who want to join the closed beta can do so here.
