Everything Shown at the FF7 25th Event
Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade is an action RPG game from Square Enix. The incredible first part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy and its DLC are coming to Steam. According to Valve, this version of the game is Steam Deck verified and runs smoothly on the handheld. Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade is out now on Steam and is also available on PS5.
New 25th Anniversary Merch. Some new Final Fantasy VII merchandise and products were shown at the event. The full list of products includes: a Buster Sword clock, new Play Arts Kai figures of Roche Shinra soldiers, a Static Arts statue of Cloud and more. A Final Fantasy VII Compilation Vinyl will also launch on August 11th, 2022.
Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier is a battle royal game set in the world of Final Fantasy VII. As the game begins its third season, a new map called Midgar Plateside will be introduced. With the new Serpent Launcher, which resembles a bazooka, and water-elemental materia, you will be able to charge into combat with a new arsenal. This season will also introduce a new fighting style called the Machinist, which allows you to fight with a hammer. Season 3 is out now on IOS and Android.
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is an RPG game from Applibot. A new trailer for this mobile Final Fantasy VII universe retelling was shown at this event. This trailer suggests that this title will be more than just a front-to-back retelling of the full Final Fantasy VII compilation’s story. This could even imply that this game is yet another remake that will take well-known characters and take them in a different direction from the plot of the original game. I may be reading too much into this, but either way, this mobile game appears to be a compelling story retelling. Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will launch in closed beta later this year on IOS and Android, with the full release coming at some point afterward.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an action RPG game from Square Enix. This title is a remaster of the original PSP game, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. A prequel narrative to Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core, centers on Zack Fair's search for SOLDIER Genesis Rhapsodos, who has disappeared. This remaster will bring improved graphics, refreshed 3D models, entirely voiced dialogue, and more to the original game. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion launches on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC this winter.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is an action-RPG game from Square Enix. The next installment of the Final Fantasy VII remake is coming sooner than you might think. While we don't know much about the title just yet, the story of this second part appears to greatly depart from the original game's plot. Also, Zach Fair (the protagonist of Crisis Core) is shown in the teaser, and despite being presumably dead at the end of Crisis Core, he seems to have survived. “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is being designed so that people can enjoy this game whether they know the original game or not,” said Tetsuya Nomura (creative director). “In fact, new players might even enjoy starting their Final Fantasy VII journey with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Cloud and his friends embark on a new journey in this game, and I believe that the scenes that they witness after leaving Midgar will give players a fresh, new experience. I can’t wait to share the intention behind naming the first title ‘Remake’ and the second title, Rebirth.” Journey with Cloud and crew in the second game in the three-part Remake trilogy when Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launches on PS5 next winter.
