More Xbox Game Pass Games August 2023

From Everspace 2 to Gris, here are all the games coming to Game Pass in the second half of August

By: Evan1Sonic. For anyone unaware, if you are subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate (or Game Pass), then you will be able to play these games until they leave Xbox Game Pass in the far future. You also won't be able to play these games if you are not subscribed to Game Pass in the future, but if you leave and return to Game Pass, these games will be waiting for you unless they have left the service. The descriptions of these games are from the Xbox Wire post revealing what games are coming to the service this month. Now on with the games!

Everspace 2 (Cloud and Xbox Series X/S) is an action-RPG game from Rockfish Games. “Step into the pilot seat in this fast-paced single-player space shooter where brutal challenges stand between you and epic loot. Embark on a sci-fi adventure where massive, handcrafted areas are packed with secrets, puzzles, and perils! Level up, craft, and loot better gear to survive on the edge of space.” This game came to Game Pass on August 15th.

Firewatch (Cloud, Console, and PC) is an adventure game from Campo Santo. “Making a return to the Game Pass library, Firewatch is a single-player, first-person mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness, where your only emotional lifeline is the person on the other end of a handheld radio. You’ll explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have.” This game came to Game Pass on August 17th.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Cloud, Console, and PC) is an asymmetrical survival horror game from Sumo Digital. “Take on the role of one of the notorious Slaughter family, or their victims, in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, a third-person asymmetrical horror experience based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 horror film. Experience the mad and macabre for yourself in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.” This game came to Game Pass on August 18th.

Sea of Stars (Cloud, Console, and PC) is an RPG game from Sabotage Studio. “Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. It tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.” This game came to Game Pass on August 29th.

Gris (Cloud, Console, and PC) is an adventure game from Nomada Studio. “Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality.” This game comes to Game Pass on September 5th.
