PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Games July

PlayStation Plus is getting new games in its game catalog coming in July

By: Evan1Sonic. For anyone unaware, if you have a subscription to PlayStation Plus, then you can download and play these games for free. You will only be unable to play them if they leave the subscription in the future. The descriptions of these games are from the PlayStation Blog post revealing what games are coming to the Game Catalog this month. 

Now for the games coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this month. These games will all be available for Extra members to download and play starting on July 19th.

Stray - PS4 and PS5 is a cyberpunk adventure platformer game from BlueTwelve Studio. “Lost, alone and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity and find the way home. Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. See the world through the eyes of a stray and interact with the environment in playful ways, as this lost feline adventurer untangles an ancient mystery to escape and find a way home.” I can’t wait to take on the role of a stray cat in this hotly anticipated title from Annapurna Interactive.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade - PS5 is an action RPG game from Square Enix. “This expanded version of Final Fantasy VII Remake has been enhanced for PS5, offering extra immersion with the DualSense controller, improved visuals, and comes bundled with FF7R Episode INTERmission, an exhilarating new story as Wutai ninja Yuffie Kisaragi infiltrates Midgar to steal the ultimate materia.” Final Fantasy VII Remake will also be available on the service for PS4 gamers. This is one of my favorite games of all time, and I hope some hesitant gamers will get to experience it thanks to its addition to the service.

Marvel’s Avengers - PS4 and PS5 is an action-adventure RPG game from Crystal Dynamics. “Marvel’s Avengers is an epic, third-person, action-adventure game that combines an original, cinematic story with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Assemble into a team of up to four players online, master extraordinary abilities, customize a growing roster of Heroes, and defend the Earth from escalating threats.” Even though Marvel's Avengers isn't a really great game, I enjoyed playing through the campaign, so if you're interested, I suggest you give it a shot.
