PlayStation Plus Games for August 2022
From Yakuza: Like a Dragon to Little Nightmares, PlayStation Plus Essential is getting new games in August
By: Evan1Sonic. For anyone unaware, if you have a subscription to PlayStation Plus, then for a limited time, you can get and download these games for free. You will only be unable to play them if you don't have the subscription in the future, but if you leave and return, they will be waiting for you.
The descriptions of these games are from the PlayStation Blog post revealing what games are coming to Plus this month. You can play PS4 games on a PS5, but they won't be optimized for the PS5. All of the games listed below will be available to claim from August 2nd, 2022, to September 6th, 2022, as long as you are a PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium member. Yakuza: Like a Dragon - PS4 and PS5 is an RPG game from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. “Level up from underdog to dragon in this action RPG. Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking grunt of a low-ranking yakuza family in Tokyo, returns to society after serving 18 years for a crime he didn’t commit. Uncover the truth behind his family’s betrayal while exploring – and fighting – your way across a modern-day Japanese city. Build a party from a ragtag group of society’s outcasts, spending time with them to unlock new abilities and combo skills. Take time off from your quest to immerse yourself in go-karting, arcade games or 50 substories.” Play as Ichiban Kasuga as he attempts to do good and become a hero in Yakuza Like a Dragon.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Cross Gen Deluxe Bundle - PS4 and PS5 is a sports game from Vicarious Visions. “Drop back in with the most iconic skateboarding games ever made. Play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater & Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 in one epic collection, rebuilt from the ground up in incredible HD. Little Nightmares - PS4 is a horror puzzle-platformer game from Tarsier Studios. “Immerse yourself in Little Nightmares, a dark whimsical tale that will confront you with your childhood fears!
