Sunday Scoops 02/13/22

By: Evan1Sonic. It's Sunday, and that means it's time to talk about all the gaming news this week. This week has been a somewhat slow week of news, with Salt and Sacrifice getting a release date, Sifu getting difficulty modes, The Wolf Among Us 2 getting a trailer and release window, and more.

The Wolf Among Us 2 trailer and release window. The Wolf Among Us 2, the sequel to The Wolf Among Us, is an action-adventure, story-driven game. The first game follows Bigby the Big Bad Wolf, who has gone straight and now serves as the sheriff of the Fables' district in New York City. The sequel, which is set six months after the first game, follows Bigby as he finds a new case to solve across his desk. The Wolf Among Us 2 is set to be released in 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. You can watch the trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2 here.

Sifu will be getting an accessibility update. Sifu, the fighting action-adventure game, is getting an accessibility update that adds difficulty modes, a high contrast mode, and better captions. The high contrast mode is currently on PC but not on consoles due to a bug that will be fixed with this update. The difficulty modes added with this update will be easy and hard, similar to Metroid Dread's recent update. Source.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 were announced. This year's entry in the COD series is a sequel to 2019's COD Modern Warfare and is being designed with a new COD Warzone experience. This sequel to COD Warzone will be "a massive evolution of BR, with an all-new playspace and new sandbox mode". Both games will run on the same new engine and are developed by Infinity Ward. Source.

Never Alone is coming to Switch and will be getting a sequel. Never Alone, the 2014 platformer side-scrolling game, is getting a sequel and a Switch port.
