Sunday Scoops 03/13/22

By: Evan1Sonic. It's Sunday, and that means it's time to talk about all the gaming news this week. This week has been a steady week of news, with Chrono Trigger getting an update on mobile and PC, Glover coming to Steam, a God of War TV Show reportedly in the works at Amazon, and more.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagas DLC has been revealed. The newest Lego title in the Star Wars series is almost here, and along with the over four hundred characters in the base game, it's getting additional DLC character packs. At launch, there will be four packs, which include the Mandalorian Season 1, Classic Characters, Trooper, and Solo: A Star Wars Story packs. These packs will be available as a part of the character collection or through standalone purchases. The Mandalorian Season 1 pack includes the Mandalorian and not-playable Baby Yoda, as well as Greef Karga, Cara Dune, IG-11, and Kuiil. The Solo: A Star Wars Story pack brings young Han Solo, young Chewbacca, young Lando Calrissian, Qi’ra, Tobias Beckett, and Enfys Nest. The Classic Characters Pack comes with Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and Lando Calrissian. The Trooper Pack brings  Death Trooper, Incinerator Trooper, Range Trooper, Imperial Shore Trooper, and Mimban Stormtrooper. On April 19th, 2022, another DLC pack makes its way to your system. This new pack brings characters from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The characters included in this pack are Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbu, and Director Krennic. Also on May 4, The Mandalorian Season 2 and Star Wars: The Bad Batch Character Packs will be available. The Mandalorian Season 2 pack comes with Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, Fennec Shand, and Moff Gideon, and the Bad Batch Character Pack contains Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo. These seven DLC packs bring over fourthy charactors to the already stacked rouster in the regular game. Journey into a galaxy far, far away when LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga comes to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC on April 5, 2022.

Chrono Trigger got a new update on mobile and PC. Four years after the last patch, Chrono Trigger just received a new patch on both mobile and PC. This new update adds support for full-screen displays up to 21:9 aspect ratio, improved operability, an auto-battle speed boost (x1.5), and save slots increased to 20. Also on mobile, the extras section has been added. While Chrono Trigger still isn't on Switch, it's nice to see these quality of life additions added to PC and mobile.

Some of the titles that were shown at this event include Exoprimal, The Dio Field Chronicle, Valkyrie Elysium, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. Some other highlights were Ghostwire: Tokyo, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Forspoken, and Trek to Yomi. You can read my full recap of the event here.
