The Huge New PlayStation Plus Game Lineup

Before we jump into the list of games coming to the new PS Plus at launch, here's a quick refresher on the three PS Plus tiers and what you’ll get with each one.
PS Plus Essential. With the Essential tier of PS Plus, you’ll get monthly PS5 and PS4 games. As well as exclusive discounts, cloud storage for game saves, and online multiplayer access. This membership option is the same as PS Plus as we know it today. It’ll cost $9.99 per month, $24.99 quarterly, and $59.99 yearly.
PS Plus Extra. With the Extra membership of the new PS Plus, you’ll receive everything you would get with the essential plan, as well as a catalogue of around 400 PS5 and PS4 games. This membership option is similar to today's PS Now, albeit without the classic titles. The list of some the catalogue of games is listed below. For this tier, it’ll set you back $14.99 per month, $39.99 quarterly, and $99.99 yearly.
PS Plus Premium. With the Premium tier, you’ll receive everything you would get with both the Extra and Essential plans. As well as a catalog of PS1, PS2, and PSP games that you can stream or download, time-limited game trials, and a collection of PS3 games you can play through streaming. This membership option costs $17.99 monthly, $49.99 quarterly, and $119.99 yearly.
PS Plus Deluxe. PS Plus Deluxe is the same as PS Plus Premium, except you won’t have the ability to stream PS3 games. This tier will only be available in regions that lack PS3 game streaming and will cost less than PS Plus Premium, although the price has yet to be revealed.
Now onto some of the games coming to the service on day one.

Now for some of the classic games coming to the service on day one. Classic Games Catalog. This catalog of games is available for PS Plus Premium and Deluxe members. Some of these titles will show improved frame rates and higher-quality resolution compared to their original versions. Also, for select PS1 and PSP classic games, there will be a new user interface with menus that will allow you to save your game at any time, or even rewind the game. If you’ve previously purchased the digital version of some of these games from the PS1 and PSP generations, you won’t have to make a separate purchase or sign up to the new PS Plus to play these titles on the PS5 or PS4. Some of the titles will also be available for individual purchase.

Time-Limited Game Trials. This benefit will allow you to try select games for a certain amount of time, usually two hours. Trophies and save data from the trials will carry forward if you decide to purchase the full game.

As crazy as it may be, this isn’t the full list of games coming to the new PS Plus on day one. On the PlayStation Blog post detailing this news (which is linked below), Nick Maguire said, “PlayStation.com will be updated with the game list when it launches in your region.” and when talking about remastered classic games “Below is an early look at a selection of games that will be available.” I’m not expecting a ton more games to come with the launch of the service, but there will be at least a few more titles.
Beyond June, the PS Plus game catalog will get more games and presumably lose games post-launch. In the middle of each month, there will be a refresh that will add new games across the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe tiers. The new PS Plus launches in Asia on May 24, followed by Japan on June 2, North and South America on June 13, and finally Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on June 23.
